Who is Kevin Prince Boateng?

Kevin-Prince Boateng is arguably one of the most multi-faceted players in the world. If you talk to people around the globe about the Ghanaian midfielder, there are bound to be varied opinions of him, this is because of his history and background. When Kevin first broke out into the international soccer scene, he was already a well-decorated German international at the youth level. He won a German championship with Hertha BSC at the U-17-level in his hometown; Berlin and thereon made his debut into the Bundesliga at the early age of 18. He quickly made his way into the starting Eleven, where he was joined by his younger brother Jérôme. The Boateng brothers were not only very popular, because they were good players; they also had an intriguing background to them.

Growing up in one of the most rundown and dangerous quarters of the German capital; Berlin, Kevin-Prince and Jérôme's world were the football grounds around the corner. Looking back now from a present-day perspective, one can see how they grew so unbelievably talented playing street ball together in that neighborhood from dawn till dusk.
