Ranking the NBA
The 2013/14 NBA season is halfway through and the NBA All-Star Game is almost here. Several teams have been playing very well and so have some of the NBA’s best players.
Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder is playing out of his mind and is on a whole different level at this stage in his career. He has served notice to rival and friend LeBron James of the Miami Heat that the season’s MVP Trophy will be hotly contested for as he took it to LeBron on the close of a January 29th matchup between their two teams.
The big story thus far in this NBA season is that of the Indiana Pacers who are legitimate contenders and a very strong NBA Finalist, as they look to unseat the Miami Heat not only in the Eastern Conference but as league Champions.
Many teams in the league came out firing on all cylinders at the start of the season, but as the saying goes “Liquids find their Levels” so has most of those teams who started hot but have now simmered down and playing as most pundits expected them to.
The Indiana Pacers came out of the gates in a spectacular fashion winning 9 games straight before losing to the Chicago Bulls. After that loss they went on to string a series of very impressive wins against top contenders in both the Eastern and Western Conference.
