The RealWear NAVIGATOR – an out-of-the-box , tried and tested , head mounted computer – has been deployed globally , not only in mining but also in in the oil and gas , automotive , and manufacturing industries . The company has over 200 software suppliers supporting this solution – enabling specialists to work hands free with Assisted Reality ( AR – overlaying reality with additional information and in essence allowing people to use their hands with situational awareness ) 9 .
