A
t the 2016 SALI Awards of Excellence, Life Landscapes won a Gold
Award for Landscape and Turf Maintenance at the Country Club of
Johannesburg in Auckland Park. Landscape designer Megan Mackenzie
worked with contractor Life Landscapes from the start of the upgrade
of this very old established garden which has seen a great deal of foot
traffic, as it is continuously in use for weddings, functions and sports
tournaments, throughout the year. Mackenzie said that garden designers
had come and gone over the years and Beth Still needed mentioning
because she was at the club for 20 years. There were no plans or
drawings found for the garden which has clearly undergone ad hoc
