In April 2015, I travelled to South Africa to act as a fourth year tutor during the second and final phase of construction for Project Kagiso, a Live Build project for Unit 2A at the University of Nottingham which saw architecture students competing during a design phase in their first term to get the chance to have their designs become a reality and be constructed by the whole unit in the mountainous Limpopo region of South Africa.
