The event is hosted by the South African Wind Energy
Association (SAWEA) in partnership with the Global
Wind Energy Council (GWEC).
This 4th Annual WINDaba is set to have record
attendance with a burgeoning industry with hundreds
of turbines and dozens of wind farms across South
Africa.
From 2012 to 2013 the show floor space alone, grew
a phenomenal 60%. Delegates participant figures
have shown steady growth with all trends indicating a
diversification of value chain decision-makers, as the
shows credibility and measurable business returns
become evident.
The conference programme features high-quality
presentations covering a cross-section of relevant
and informative topics. As the annual meeting of
the wind energy industry in Africa, WINDaba offers

Innovation Africa 2014 will be hosted in Kigali under
the official patronage of the Ministry of Education,
endorsed by the Rwanda Development Board
and supported by the full weight of the Rwandan
Government Cabinet. Previous editions of this
premier meetings-based event in Victoria Falls,
Cape Town and Gaborone have attracted over 1 400
delegates, 60 ministers, 300 partner companies and
400 senior government officials for basic education,
higher education and ICT. The organisers look
forward to welcoming you to the clean, connected,
safe and beautiful city of Kigali this November.
The central feature of Innovation Africa is the
opportunity for partners and delegates to book prescheduled meetings with their preferred countries
and government officials. The 2014 summit will have
over 40 African ministries and a slick organisation
that allows for 800 pre-scheduled meetings
connecting industry leaders with ministers and
officials. Attendance is essential for anyone serious
about doing business in Africa’s booming education
and ICT sectors.
In partnership with the Rwandan Government, the
organisers will be bringing over 150 ministers and
government officials to engage with industry partners
at Innovation Africa 2014. The event will include an
informative ministerial Q & A panel session, to tackle
the key issues of education, innovation, vocational
skills, ICT and curriculum development in Africa. The
highly professional AfricanBrains team will organise
800 pre-scheduled private meetings between
government and industry.
