REVOLUTION
A comprehensive regional lighting event for the Middle East and Africa has
been unveiled – with the emphasis on technology and education.
A
new exhibition and conference covering lighting design and technology in
the Middle East and Africa has been launched. Taking place in Abu Dhabi in
April 2016, LuxLive Middle East features over 40 engaging talks, debates and
workshops across two days in two arenas. LuxLive is a new event, organised
by the world’s biggest lighting publisher and backed by the industry’s top
brands. Over 3 000 specifiers, contractors and clients are expected from
across GCC and Africa.
Major lighting
manufacturers –
including Schreder, iGuzzini, Trilux,
Lutron, Erco, Fagerhult and Opple – will
show the latest innovations in LED
lighting and smart controls. Organisers
are also working with both international
and regional lighting design practices
and top designers to bring their
expertise and experience to the event
and match their skills with developers
and clients in the leisure, hospitality and
residential sectors.
“This is a great opportunity for lighting professionals and specifiers to network with over
3,000 attendees, hear from expert international speakers and see first-hand the latest new
and exciting lighting products and technologies in the market,” said show organiser Ray
Molony. “There’s a revolution happening in lighting – thanks for LEDs and high technology
controls – and we’d love to welcome industry colleagues from Africa to be part of it.”
Top lighting designers will give keynote presentations and take part in debates in two
custom-built arenas at the show, which takes place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition
Centre on Wednesday 13 April and Thursday 14 April. AD
