As published in the RACA Journal (January 2016, Vol 31 No 11), Mitsubishi Electric Air
conditioning boasts with the installation of their HVAC systems at the new 16 000m2 site
recently completed at the Porsche dealership in Pretoria. The size of the Pretoria Porsche
dealership is the largest one of four in South Africa. Director and owner of WIN Consult, Ian
Wingrove, tasked with the HVAC design, confirmed that matching an HVAC system to the
building space is key to achieve the controllability desired by its occupants.
The benefit of the Mitsubishi Electric two-pipe heat recovery system is that it is both energy
efficient and cost effective. It is essential to ensure the right product is used in any project,
and with the Porsche project, Mitsubishi Electric Air conditioning’s VRF (Variable Refrigerant
