MARK OF APPROVAL
Through continuing pursuit of excellence in precast concrete, the Concrete
Manufacturers Association Certication Services (CMA CS) has obtained
SANAS (South African National Accreditation Services) accreditation for the
certication of a wide range of precast concrete products.
he certification brings it to the forefront of precast certification and
ensures that specifiers and engineers can specify products bearing the
CMA CS Mark of Approval with the utmost confidence.
WHY CMA CS
CMA CS was established by the precast industry association as an
alternative supplier to the traditional SABS (South African Bureau of
Standards) certification process, following ongoing complaints from the
industry. The CMA CS was subsequently accredited as an official
certification authority.
ENSURING COMPLIANCE AND QUALITY MANAGEMENT
For the end-users of precast products, the CMA CS Mark of Approval
ensures that the company producing products are being assessed on a
regular basis for compliance with their quality management systems, as
well as the applicable product specifications for which they have the CMA
CS mark.
