African ChangeMakers Initiative ( ACi ) successfully held a 2 days ’ hybrid Leadership Summit 2021 ( ACLeads2021 ) with the theme “ Re-strategizing for the New Single Market Trade Across Africa ( AFcFTA ). Speakers at the summit spread across Africa , entrepreneurs and business owners need to re-strategise on how fit into the middle and value chain as AFcFTA creates a great platform for trans-border trade . Matters around opportunities in participating in African Continental Free Trade Area Agreement was the focus of the summit .
# AfCFTA objective is to create a single continental market of goods and services , with free movement of business , persons and investments , thus paving the way for accelerated sustainable socio economic development in Africa . The Agreement has been signed by 54 African nations and commenced implementation on January 1 , 2021 .
