A GREAT AFRICAN CHANGEMAKER.
KOFI ANNAN
GENUINELY COMMITTED TO SERVE THE WORLD.
BY NGNAOUSSI ELONGUE CHRISTIAN
“Changemaker” is a term promoted by Ashoka, meaning one who desires change in
the world and, by gathering knowledge and resources, makes that change happen. A
changemaker is someone who makes a personal decision for their lives to be a part of
the solution…part of the fight for a better world. And while the world is shocked after
the death of the former first black African UN Secretary Kofi Annan, we want to recall
his legacy as a great African changemaker who was a friend to thousands and a
leader of millions.
