sewerage services to the residents and investors of Nyeri
County NYEWASCO’S Service Provision Area.
NYEWASCO has invested immensely in projects that
have ensured maximum supply of clean treated water
within the area.

delivery in all it’s departments. Customers are always
assured of professionalism and awaits quality in service
provision. The Company concentrates in ensuring quality
service is achieved by regularly carrying out project inspections together with all consultants and stakeholders.
The Company practices an open door policy where clients visit the office anytime without appointments. The
number of repeat appraisals from clients of NYEWASCO
is a clear indication of high credibility.
Among the milestones the Company is celebrating the
extension of water and sewerage services as well as the
Company ability and strength to deliver quality services
to it’s customers. To give it a difference from other companies, NYEWASCO’S one and only water meter laboratory ISO17025:2005 Accreditation makes it a choice

Future Plans
With the growing population results to high demand,
NYEWASCO unveils plans to counter the challenge. These
are:
• Water supply extension to unserved low density areas.
• Sewer extension to upcoming high density areas (Ring
Road, Ruringu, Ngangarithi, Gatende Estate etc).
• Sewer reticulation – Chaka Town.
• Sewerage Treatment and sewer reticulation at Mweiga
Town.
• Use of on line automatic micro strainer (filter) – raw
water pipeline.
• Methane Gas power generation at Kangemi Sewerage
Treatment Plant.
• Packaging of sludge manure at Kangemi Sewerage Treatment Plant.
• Use of UV (Ultraviolet) for water disinfection.
• Drinking water bottling plant
• Strategic 40,000,000.00 m³ water reservoir at Muhoya
bridge.
Being pace setters in water sector in Kenya, Nyeri Water
