COMPANY CONTRIBUTION
Satellite, fibre and worldwide
connectivity services: M-Three Satcom
M-Three started its operations in 2004, with
an innovative and experienced group of
managers, with long-term goals in the
broadcast and satellite market. Initially
focused on top level DTH services as one of the
few independent Hot Bird 13° E platforms in
Europe, quickly the team increased the
capacity through a number of digital platforms
on other orbital positions and a wide range of
services for broadcasters, such as Outside
broadcast solutions, System Integration and
turnkey solutions for fibre and satellite
distribution and contribution. Continuous
investments in research and development,
human resources and innovative infrastructure
solutions, allow M-Three to offer state of the
art services, with standard or customised
solutions for every need in connectivity,
analogue to digital
audio/video/data distribution and production
facilities. M-Three’s main asset is – together
with long term commitment to Eutelsat for a
number of prime position transponders - two
Teleports, situated in Milan and Rome,
strongly connected to the worldwide Interoute
network. The two facilities supply around-theclock turnkey services and share with clients
and partners a number of Uplink stations with
full redundant solutions for Pan-European
coverage. M-Three provides from its facilities,
or through complete head end and uplink
systems installed directly in clients premises,
permanent or occasional use capacity and
services on satellites with worldwide coverage,
and allows access and signal distribution in
every country with customised solutions.
The Group commitment to worldwide
digital switch
From the beginning of the switch from
analogue to digital in Italy and in Europe, the

and national TV, and for radio networks. With
the development and the progress of
digitalisation in the rest of the world, the three
partners are more and more involved in
international projects for DTT, DAB and
satellite distribution. The group approach to
various projects is based on focusing dedicated
‘task forces’ for all crucial aspects, from
frequency and coverage planning, to technical
resources allocation and projecting, and to the
implementation and post-sales support, direct
on site support or through local partners.
From head-end and compression system,
through efficient satellite and terrestrial
contribution networks, to local DTT
distribution systems, the solutions proposed
allow broadcasters to benefit from a one-stop
shop where all elements are combined in a
simple and clear project, with no possibility to
overlap or mismatch any part of the solution
and with a total guarantee of success.
The group is currently involved in a
number of international projects including in
Eastern Europe, South America and in the
African area and is increasing its commercial
presence in all areas through partners and
branch offices. The activity is oriented to
support the creation from scratch of a network
in emerging broadcast markets or to the
update of existing networks. The team will be
present at leading international trade shows
around the world, attending as an exhibitor
the forthcoming AfricaCast in Cape Town and
subsequent events in Vietnam, India and US.
