DAY 1 Johannesburg / Victoria Falls or Livingstone
Fly to Victoria Falls or Livingstone . On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel . The sight and sound of the massive Zambezi River rushing and crashing into the gorge below must have truly taken David Livingstone ’ s breath away , as it will yours , so many years later .
DAY 2 Victoria Falls
During a walking tour , simply stand , watch , feel and listen to the spray and thunderous noise as water from the Zambezi River crashes into the chasm below . Locals refer to the falls as ‘ Mosi-oa-Tunya ’ which means the ‘ The Smoke that Thunders ’, due to the incredible vision of rising mist that can be seen from some distance ... and the thunder ? You ’ ll hear it for yourself , as the force and power almost defies belief . This evening , why not take a tranquil Sunset Cruise along the Zambezi River where game sightings can include elephant , hippo , buffalo and crocodile ( at extra expense ).
DAY 3 Victoria Falls or Livingstone / Johannesburg
