DAY 1 Cape Town
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
DAY 2 Cape Town
Your tour includes a one day Hop-on- Hop-off bus pass, which offers informative audio commentary( including a special audio channel just for children) and gives you an easy, fun way to get your bearings and see the city’ s major sights. Taking the bus is also the best way to get to Table Mountain and back, or you may wish to visit Camps Bay to drink in the stunning views.
DAY 3 Cape Town
Day at leisure. Don’ t miss the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront for its boutique shops and restaurants or perhaps take a leisurely stroll around the highly acclaimed Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens? The choice is yours!
DAY 4 Cape Town
This morning, look forward to a Walk to Freedom tour, which follows in the footsteps of local communities. See where and how both past and present generations lived, or just existed, during the dark days of apartheid, and experience how people of the townships live today. Begin with a drive past Slave Lodge and City Hall to view Mandela’ s Statue, then visit the riveting District Six Museum. Proceed to the Langa Township, the oldest apartheid housing scheme in the Cape, visiting the local market- Gugu Sthebe, where the community showcase their skills in various arts and crafts. The afternoon is yours to explore or relax.

DAY 5 Cape Town
At leisure. A ferry ride to Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela and other political prisoners were incarcerated, is recommended, but must be booked in advance( at extra expense).
DAY 6 Cape Town
Morning tour to Cape Point which begins with a peek at the glamorous homes of Clifton Beach and Camps Bay, before driving on to charming Hout Bay. Snake along the legendary Chapmans Peak Drive towards the Cape of Good Hope section of the Table Mountain National Park, see the penguins of Boulders Beach and visit the historical naval port of Simon’ s Town. The afternoon is at leisure.
DAY 7 Cape Town
Transfer back to Cape Town airport for your onward journey.

DAY 1 Cape Town

DAYS 2-3 Cape Town
Explore as you wish. Must-see’ s include the iconic Table Mountain, Robben Island( advance booking required), the bustling V & A Waterfront and delightful Camps Bay. To enhance your stay, perhaps book one of our unmissable experiences- see page 16.
DAY 4 Cape Town / Stellenbosch
Collect your hire car and drive east to the scenic Winelands and the beautiful town of Stellenbosch. Lying between the Simonsberg and Papegaaiberg Mountains, Stellenbosch’ s historic town centre features oak-shaded streets lined with a tempting selection of cafés, boutiques and art galleries. There’ s also Cape Dutch architecture to admire and numerous award-winning wine estates.
DAY 5 Stellenbosch
Get out and about to discover Stellenbosch’ s many delights. Perhaps hire a bike and pedal along the town’ s wine route, which has some 100 estates open to the public. Be sure to stop and try some of the wines and dine in one of the many celebrated restaurants. If cycling sounds too much like hard work, buy a ticket for the Vine Hopper, which offers three hopon-hop-off routes each visiting five or six wine estates per day. Art lovers may wish to pop into the Rupert Museum or browse the array of galleries within the town.
DAY 6 Stellenbosch / Hermanus
Continue eastwards to the small coastal town of Hermanus, where breathtaking scenery and a bewitching array of experiences await you.

DAY 7 Hermanus
Stretched along a narrow ribbon of land betwixt towering mountains and a spectacular shoreline, Hermanus is surrounded by nature in her grandest style. It’ s become synonymous with shorebased whale watching( particularly from June to November), as these mighty marine mammals use the sheltered coves to mate and calve. Those with a thirst for adventure can try their hand at paragliding, kayaking and more, plus there are shops, markets and museums to delve into.
DAY 8 Hermanus / Cape Town
Return to Cape Town airport where you drop off your car and the tour concludes.
