Australian owned distributor of new energy heavy vehicles , sourcing the best overseas technology to help accelerate the zero emissions transport transition in Australia . To date FMD has launched the Foton T5 light duty Electric truck , together with the Asiastar D11 electric van , both with 5yr / 200,000kms warranties . In addition , a national dealer network has been established to fully support FMD ’ s current & future products .
In 2021 FMD commissioned the first ADR approved commercial Hydrogen City bus in Australia , several of which have now been sold to major National Transport operator , Transit Systems Australia . The fuel cell used in the Hydrogen City bus was jointly developed by Toyota , SinoHytec and Foton International Ltd .
To ensure only products fit for purpose are introduced to the Australian market we partner with leading Energy industry operators , such as Energy Australia , BOC Gas , and Lion Energy , and work closely with Skills training Institutions across the Country to ensure the work force are provided with the specialist skills necessary to manage and maintain new energy heavy vehicles .
