The session we would like to host will be a two part that will be kicked off by Dr McCartney who is Australia ’ s leading authority in business and health , and has decades in experience in medicine and a curiosity in the health challenges we face in business . Dr McCartney will outline occupational and environmental challenges that impact our health , and the health and safety risks / concerns that we in business , need to manage . The session will then be handed to Lou Boyle , Teletrac Navman ’ s National
Manager for Local Government who will then address those concerns outlined by Dr McCartney . The idea is Lou will work through the role of technology and video telematics and how it plays a hand in keeping drivers safe from a concept stand point , to ensure that everyone understands that technology is a friend in the vehicle we drive every day to keep us safe and away from as much harm as possible . The primary area of technology Lou will cover is video telematics , and how dashcam ’ s are more than just a record of what ’ s happened , but an AI tool that is a 3rd eye on the road for the driver to better prepare them for the environment that surrounds them .
