"Know Where You Stand"

Agility:

> Weave agility (AFL with ball)

Acceleration with ball from start gate performing a single bounce in "Bounce Zone 1" before weaving with ball around poles in order 4, 3, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4. Perform second bounce in "Bounce Zone 2" before accelerating through finish gate.

Measure: Time to 1/100th of a second

Attempts: 2

> AFL agility

Accelerate from starting gate between poles 1 and 2 turning around pole 1. Weave outside of poles 2, 3, 4 and 5 before accelerating through finish gate.

Measure: Time to 1/100th of a second

Attempts: 2

Reaction:

> AFL Academy League ability (handball and kick)

Acceleration from start gate (trigger 1) and pick up static ball. Trigger 1 will randomly illuminate either gate L1 or R1. Athlete must perform a handball pass to the highlighted goal before continuing through "Trigger 2" that will randomly illuminate either gate L2 or R2. Athlete will then pick up a second ball and must perform a low kick into the highlighted goal before accelerating through finish line.

Measure: Time with split at trigger 2 and finish to 1/100th of a second

Sprint, Recovery and Endurance:

> 20m acceleration with splits at 5m, 10m and 20m

Accelerate from starting gate through timing gates at 5m, 10m and finish gate at 20m.

Measure: Time to 1/100th of a second at each split

> Repeat sprint ability (6 x 30m)

Accelerate from starting gate at full speed through half way line and recover back to half way line for repeat sprint. Sprints are performed 6 times (total 180m) with a repeat time split of 20 seconds.

Measure: Split and total time to 1/100th of a second

> Yo-Yo intermittent recovery L1

Endurance measure where athlete runs from start line to half way line and performs an immediate turn on the cue of the laser gates and returns to the start line and run off for a recovery period of 10 seconds. This is repeated until the athlete can no longer perform a run within the time of the gates. The speed of the run is increased in incriments.

Measure: Level, total distance, final speed
