Academy League offer a range of sport specific testing. The following is designed for Australian Rules Football (AFL).
All testing is undertaken in a controlled environment by trained staff.
Our testing includes:
General:
> Height
Measure: To the nearest 0.5cm
Attempts: 1
> Weight
Measure: To the nearest 0.5kg
Attempts: 1
> Flexibility (sit and reach)
Measure: Using the AAHPERD scale to the nearest 1.0cm
Attempts: 2
> Vertical jump (standing)
Standing jump with no step in allowed using the Vertec vertical jump measure.
Measure: To the nearest 1cm
Attempts: Until failure to reach vane
> Vertical jump (run up)
Run in from 5m using the Vertec vertical jump measure.
Measure: To the nearest 1cm
Attempts: Until failure to reach vane
