Blinding White Glare
By Colin Campbell, 11
You will obey the law,
This paper, white, tells you what to do.
If you break these laws,
I will come for you, understood.
The world revolves around order,
See this board, white, every picture
Is an example of you
If you break the law.
This world revolves around government.
This world revolves around the white male,
To the intellectual, puissant,
The opulent.
A hierarchy which buries the indigent.
A place where children are born,
Born into a social structure
Held by pillars of
Money, race and class.
What shall we do,
To save ourselves from this pyramid?
Elect a businessman
As a politician.
