Walking the Ocean Floor
By Colin Campbell, 11
Treading through deep water depths.
Walking on hard sand
Being crushed by the waters weight.
As I turn to a crushed tin can.
Talking, but only air escapes,
As it so desperately makes its way to
The water's surface.
Yet I have no air to float as well.
Looking up at the slightly bright water,
Standing on the pitch black floor,
Only light shines around me
An aura to keep the creatures away.
