·         o   Selam foundation which is a non-profit and non-political organization will take the lead in organizing the first world Eid Al Fitr in Washington DC. SELAM was established and legally registered with Non-Profit organization (501-c(3)) in 2010 with the objective of Education and Social service through participation and community service. Over the past several years, it has made a significant contribution to the overall Social benefits and literary reduction effort through the Islamic community in the DMV area.

§  Organizational Values and Principles:

·         To protect and preserve religious heritage and bridge cultural gaps, and to make a lasting and positive impact in the lives of the association community members.

o   Wondem Kalid Foundation which is an Ethiopian based 501c non-profit organization. In the past 3 years the organization has become one of the most prominent charitable foundations that are working extensively to eradicate poverty and homelessness in Ethiopia particularly during the pandemic. Recently the founder of the organization Kalid Nasir also received the year’s top charitable person award from Ethiopia’s top ranking government officials and has been continuing to receive national and international recognitions as well.
