Adwa can help us transcend our struggle from what went wrong to that of what went right narrative. Specially this even gets stronger since the victory was inscribed as a rare occasion and occured almost under an impossible condition and time. It is the only one of its kind when it comes to forging an effective resistance of African countries against the colonizing power at that point in time. So this helps to bridge the missing link in the way we celebrate the black history- learning from ones own victory. And this may take if not transcend our struggle to the next level making it inscribe a leap frog.
Both The victory of battle of Adwa and the Martin Luther Jr movement are born out of same spirit and one is the continuation of the other. That's to say, .... equally important both Of these two great episodes are turning points in black history as far as the age old struggle against historical injustice is concerned.
