Journalism Digital Media Summer
Camp is June 10-19 at the Center for
Collaborative Journalism in Macon, Ga. High
school students learn coding, photography,
videography, interviewing techniques and much
more June 10-19 at our Digital Media Summer
Camp. Most students attend for FREE thanks to a
generous grant by the Knight Foundation.

Georgia Journalism Academy is June
5-10 at the Grady College of Journalism &
Mass Communication in Athens, Ga. In this
week long hands on program, high school
students will obtain in-depth knowledge from
expert instructors in one core class they take
throughout the week: TV News Broadcasting,
Photojournalism, Advertising, Feature Writing,
Editorial Writing or Sports Writing. Students
will enhance knowledge in either publication
design, web design or broadcast production
since they will be producing the official Academy
newspaper, website, broadcast news TV show or
advertising campaign. They will also experience
college life: while living in one of UGA’s residence
halls, studying in the Grady College, working at
and around the UGA campus and eating at one
of Georgia’s award-winning dining halls.
