Member of Founded in 1971, the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI) is recognized by the Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports as the only National Sports Federation (NSF) for the promotion and governance of motorsports in India. The FMSCI was set up with the main objective to standardise rules and regulations for motorsporting events across India. It is a Private Limited, non-profit company registered under Section 25 of the Indian Companies Act 1956. And is also a long standing member of the International Federations for motorsports viz. Federation Internationale de l’ Automobile (FIA), Paris (four wheelers and above) and Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), Geneva (2 and 3 wheeler motorsports). The FMSCI is also a member of the Indian Olympic Association, and has a wide base of affiliated member clubs spread across the length and breadth of India.
