Finally, looking toward Horizon we can draw an intersection of plane tangent to
observation place within Polar Star. In this way, we will have:
 Earth North in front
 Turning 90° to left West
 Turning 90° to right East
 Behind, turning 180° the South direction.
DAY
Considering illusory arch described by the Sun, we can confirm that Sun rise from East
and set in West. Exactly, during 21 March and 23 September Sun will precisely Rise
and Set from East and West.
ORIENTEERING (HOW TO SCOUTING IN AN ENVIRONMENT):
During our excursion in every environment we have to take a look and be focus on all
of the “created” that is around us:
level ground trees, mountain, wood and forest, pasture, and however, we have to
take care about what we could find in that places, as: which kind of animal stand in
that area or which kind of tree born in the same pl ace.
In this way, analysing and knowing what you are walking trhough, we can be safe and
sure of environment that surround us.
TREES:
The tree fertilizes lands whit humus of his leaf died and it regulate the weather of the
place and it focus the water’s cycle. Furthermore, it grows, reproduce, get sicks and
die. For that, the most important enemies are: fire, insects, climbing plants and
humans.
LANDS AND ENVIRONMENT:
Of course, if we need to localize our final point to reach for a good place for camping
for the night.
We need to observe which environment is more favourable for us: good level ground,
to permit a good and safe position of tend; water point, necessary for our vacancy; far
away from beds of rivers, to avoid any problems about big rains and to save the life
against unexpected overflows of rivers.
