ADVENTURE TO LIVE FIRE COOKBOOK
Our participants during their last day had to prepare some delicious food on fire. They had only ingredients that they bought the previous day in closeby village and just for about 2 euros. Despite that we had a chance to taste some delicious meals.
Turkish vegetable soup with Orzo- Sehriyeli Sebze Corbasi
• Heat the olive oil in a pan and add onions, peppers and carrots. Stir and cook for 2-3 minutes, they will start to soften up.
• Pour in the hot water or vegetable stock. Also pour in the chopped canned tomatoes and the tomato puree, stir well. Cover and bring to to the boil. Stir the pot and cover again, cook for 10 minutes at medium to low heat.
• Then add the orzo pasta, season with salt and ground black pepper and combine well. Cover and cook for another10 minutes at medium to low heat, stirring occasionally.
• Once the orzo pasta is cooked, stir in the parsley, pour in the lemon juice and combine well. Turn the heat off.

Chicken and vegetables skewers
• Slice chicken into cubes and season it with salt, pepper and herbs of your choice
• Slice vegetable and also season it with salt and pepper
• Soak your wooden skewers into water before putting them on fire to prevent them from burning
• Add on your skewers chicken and vegetable and roast it on fire until done and crispy
Fire roasted herb potatoes
• Slice potatotes and season it with your herbs, garlic, salt and pepper.
• Add olive oil and put it with your bowl on grill
• Use wooden stick to mix it
• Cook until soft
Babaganoush – Roasted eggplant dip
• Place 1 eggplant on a grill and turn every 5 minutes or so, until the entire surface of eggplant is charred and crispy. Don ' t worry if the eggplant deflates a little. Remove from the fire and place on a plate to cool.
• Once the eggplant is cool enough to touch with your hands, carefully peel the charred skin off the eggplant. Discard the skin. Move the flesh onto your chopping board, slice off the stem and discard. Using your knife, mince the flesh until almost smooth. Scoop into a bowl.
• Add the lemon juice, tahini, parsley, and a little salt and pepper. Whisk together and taste for seasoning.
