the country. In addition, you’ll find useful tips and
tricks for everything from training your hunting dog
and ambushing squirrels, to scaling the highest
mountains and trekking through the roughest terrain.
This issue wouldn’t have been complete without
the help of Les Stroud, expert survivalist and host
of Discovery Channel’s Survivorman. Between
filming episodes and working one-on-one with
the wilderness, Les provided us with an exclusive
interview in which he offers personal insight regarding
his survival techniques and experiences. Thank you

chef and author, for sharing some of his original
recipes from his newest book, Duck, Duck, Goose:
