Many of you know that we are always trying
wholefood & healthy recipes in our quest to
reduce the amount of sugar in our diets
This recipe is from Wholefood Simply.
INGREDIENTS
BASE
12 medjool dates
2½ cups desiccated coconut
1 tablespoon almond butter
1 tablespoon coconut cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
pinch of salt

FINDING A LEMON SLICE THAT

sugar, filled with wholefood
goodness and is so delicious
that everyone LOVES it is an

loved making this and was over
the moon when she tasted it and
gave it huge thumbs up!
2 cups macadamias
cup maple syrup
zest and juice of one lemon
3 tablespoons coconut oil, liquid
1 teaspoon vanilla
METHOD
1. Line a 20cm square cake tin with baking
paper hanging over the sides for easy
removal.
2. Place the base ingredients into your
processor and blend until the mixture
resembles a fine, sticky crumb.
3. Press the mixture firmly into the base
of your prepared tin.
4. Place the macadamias into your processor
and blend until they form a smooth paste.
5. Add in the remaining ingredients and
blend until the mixture is smooth.

6. Pour the mixture over the base, level the
top and place in the fridge or freezer to set.
Slice. Serve. Eat and enjoy.
