RECIPE We have whipped up some terrible ones and I was not sure that this recipe would work…but once it came out of the oven, the smell was amazing and I knew I was on a winner… INGREDIENTS ½ cup of almond meal 1½ tsp of baking powder pinch of salt ¾ cup of cacao ½ cup of natural smooth peanut butter ½ cup of raw coconut sugar cup of honey ¼ cup of olive oil 2 eggs 1 tsp of vanilla extract METHOD WHOLESOME CHOCOLATE BROWNIE SLICE WE HAVE BEEN PLAYING around with gluten free, no refined sugars, dairy free recipes for quite a while, always looking for ones that taste amazing and that the kids will LOVE. 1. Preheat your oven to 170° and line a square 20cm x 20cm baking tin. 2. Mix the dry ingredients – almond meal, baking powder and salt – together in a bowl. 3. In another bowl whisk together the peanut butter, coconut sugar, honey, olive oil, eggs & vanilla until well combined. 4. Add together a combine well. 5. Pop it in the tray and bake for 20 minutes (check with a skewer). O….M…G!! ENJOY warm or cold…. 21
