WELCOME
My bags were packed, a pallet of
stock had been shipped to Perth
and I was giddy with excitement
about seeing my great mate
Mandy from Travel Australia with
Kids again and presenting at the
Perth Caravan & Camping Show.
Then everything went to the
sh&%...FOR EVERYONE!
PANIC! Everything STOPPED! As
you can imagine, for a business
that sells travel accessories to a
world that can’t travel – this had
a HUGE impact. We temporarily
said a sad goodbye to a few
staff members and bunkered
down in our little shop in
Numurkah – focused on our
family and keeping the magic
of our SHOP alive…
For the last couple of months we
have pushed through and like
many others, we have valued the
quality time we have had with
our kids and fell in love with our
own backyard, had a blast with
our Isolation activities, found a
new love for TikTok, savoured
the slower lifestyle and are so
grateful for everything we have…
What now?
While writing this, regional
travel restrictions have eased
in most states (not for us in
Victoria though) and we are
feeling a real BUZZ in the air.
With no international travel on
the cards, caravanning, camping
& road trips are being planned
and quality adventures with
loved ones will be on the cards
for most Australians – this will
result in a massive shift towards
the lifestyle that you and I LOVE
and we will see Caravan Parks
& tourism operators finally
