It’ s a tough time for the housebuilding industry. Recent data from the National House Building Council showed that total new home registrations in the second quarter of the year were down by 4 % on the same period last year, with half of the 12 regions of the UK showing registrations down on 12 months ago. It’ s just the latest in a series of data releases to show that production has slowed.
