With a general election happening sooner than expected , both lenders and investors need to reorganise

As the economic picture improves , the chances are that lenders will be kept plenty busy as confidence among borrowers rises . But , what may catch some out is the pace at which they ’ ll need to respond .
The 2024 UK Bridging Market Survey from EY and Bridging & Commercial revealed that brokers and lenders feel the bridging market will expand over the coming year or so . Over two thirds ( 67 %) of participants expected the market to continue to grow , while 43 % of lenders specifically are looking to expand regionally .
