Prospera Tedam is a qualified social worker with 17 years ’ experience working in the voluntary and statutory sectors within children and families specialism . Prospera is a Senior Lecturer in Social work at the University of Northampton where she has been since 2006 . She is also a doctoral student examining the practice learning experiences of black social work students and her other research interests include : cultural competence in social work , equality and diversity in higher education , inclusivity in teaching , and field education . Prospera holds a government appointment as a member of the Independent Family Returns Panel of the UK Border Agency where she advises on child safeguarding matters in relation to Immigration . Dr . Rameela Shekhar is currently the Dean of PG Department at Roshni Nilaya , Mangalore , India . Prof . Shekhar is also a practicing child and adolescent mental health professional and has in the process treated many children , adolescents and families with psychological problems . Prof . Shekhar has also presented a number of research papers in various local , state , national and International conferences . Prof . Shekhar has been the Organizing Secretary of an International Conference on " Women and Mental Health " on October 2010 and has been involved with research with the University of Cornell , USA . Rameela is also the author of three books on child mental health , and mental health , and has coauthored a manual for teachers and parents on child mental health . Prof . Shekhar was also appointed for two consecutive terms as a Member of the Mental Health Authority for Karnataka . She has been a significant contributor to the National Disaster Management Guidelines brought out by the NDMA , Government of India snd is on a number of state committees .
