The Affordable Child Care Benefit will replace the Child Care Subsidy( CCS) on September 1, 2018.
The Affordable Child Care Benefit
The Affordable Child Care Benefit will help families with the cost of childcare, depending on factors like family size, type of care and household income.
The amount of funding available to families is dependant on: family size, children who have special needs, age of children, type of child care, amount of care needed, and household income.
Did you know? If you use the Affordable Child Care Benefit for Preschool, the parent( s) does not need to be working or going to school.
Special Needs Supplement( SNS)
Parents eligible for Child Care Subsidy who have a child designated with special needs and who requires child care, may be eligible to receive the Special Needs Supplement( SNS). The SNS provides up to an additional $ 150 per month towards the cost of child care.

Child Care Subsidy Translation Services Translation services are available to assist with Child Care Subsidy. Call the Child Care Subsidy Service Centre at 1-888-338-6622 and ask for a translator.
