You could receive:
$25 to help cover the cost of opening the RESP;
$500 to add to the RESP now
$100 each year until the calendar year he or she turns 15.

without having to put in any of your own money!
Federal Education Grants
Canada Education Savings Grant
The Canada Education Savings Grant is money the government adds to your
child's Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP) to help their savings grow.
No matter what your net family income, the Canada Educations Savings
Grant (CESG) provides at least 20 cents for every dollar on the first
$2,500 of annual RESP savings.
You can get up to $7,200 for your child's RESP.
