Federal Education Grants Canada Education Savings Grant The Canada Education Savings Grant is money the government adds to your child's Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP) to help their savings grow. No matter what your net family income, the Canada Educations Savings Grant (CESG) provides at least 20 cents for every dollar on the first $2,500 of annual RESP savings.
