Intermediate Bridge For experienced bridge players : sessions will focus on ( legal ) communication skills between teammates during bidding , leading , and defensive play . You will learn offensive play as well , including improved hand evaluations . You will play several hands and compare your success with others in the class . After the sessions , be ready for an invitation to play duplicate bridge at the Bridge Center of St . Paul . Your instructors are American Contract Bridge League ( ACBL ) North American Bridge Masters .

Family Snowshoe & Bonfire Enjoy a leisurely snowshoe trek following a beautiful ice luminary lit trail through the wooded Oakdale Nature Center . Join us back at the bonfire for hot dogs , chips , s ’ mores , and hot chocolate . A great way to celebrate a winter in Minnesota ! The luminary lit trail will close at 8:30 pm . Snowshoes included or you can bring your own . Register for arrival time every 15 minutes between 6:00 and 7:00 pm . Fly Tying 101 Learn the four basic procedures necessary to tie credible , fish-worthy flies for trout , bass and panfish . Acquire the essential skills for this endlessly fascinating hobby and then spend some pleasant hours filling your fly box . Students must bring their tools to the first class . While procedures will be demonstrated on the first night , you will be tying a fly , so you need your tools . America ’ s Boating Course Fun on the water begins with a safe boating course ! From knots and lines to lights and sound signals ; from required safety equipment to proper hauling , launching and anchoring ; from communicating afloat to handling adverse conditions and emergencies ; and from navigation rules to federal and state regulations , this course covers it all . Completion of the course and passing the exam qualifies participants for operator certification in Minnesota and Wisconsin . Fee is for the required class manual . Families may share a manual . You may attend the class in person at the Bayport Marina Clubhouse or online . If attending online , register by Feb 9 . The link and instructions will be sent prior to the start of class .
