5 Click Create Project.
Flash creates your new folder and creates a new project document
called animation_web.fla. Associated with the file is another file called
AuthortimeSharedAssets.fla. Additional project documents can share common
Library assets through this file.
sharing library symbols
You’ll create a second document for your project, and both files will share a
common Library symbol. This makes editing simple and efficient. You can make
changes to the symbol in one document, and those changes will be automatically
reflected in the other document.
1 In the new animation_web.fla file that’s open in Flash, create a simple shape
and convert it to a movie clip symbol. Leave an instance of your symbol on the
Stage.
In this example, you see a simple square created with the Rectangle tool.
2 In the Library panel, check the box under the Linkage column next to your new
symbol.
Flash stores your new symbol in the AuthortimeSharedAssets.fla file so other
files in the same project can access it.
3 Open the Project panel and click the New File button at the bottom.
The Create File dialog box appears.
