Publishing a movie for html5 A free extension available for Flash Professional CS6 called Toolkit for CreateJS allows you to publish your Flash content as HTML5. HTML5 is the latest Web standard for browsers. One of the key features of HTML5 is the new tag, which supports more sophisticated rendering and animation without the need for the Flash Player. Once installed, the Toolkit for CreateJS extension appears as a new panel within Flash Professional CS6. From the panel, you can export Flash content, including animation, sounds, and images, to HTML5. The Toolkit uses several JavaScript libraries (collec- tively known as CreateJS) to output a faithful representation of your Flash content. At the time of this publication, the Toolkit supports only Classic Tween animations and a small subset of Flash Professional’s capabilities. The Toolkit for CreateJS is in only its first iteration, and in time, Adobe will be adding additional support and features. Keep your eye on Adobe’s Web site for any updates and news about this exciting new tool. It will undoubtedly become a valuable bridge between the Flash Professional platform and the emerging standard of HTML5. 390 Lesson 10 Publishing Flash Documents
