The Blur filter is applied to the instance.

the Motion Editor, as

lesson. Click the Motion
Editor tab next to the
Timeline. Click the plus
sign next to Filters and
select Blur.
7 In the Filters section of the Properties inspector,
click the link icon to constrain the blur values to
both the x and y directions equally. Set the X and
Y Blur values to 20 pixels.
8 Move the red playhead across the entire Timeline
to preview the animation.
The 20-pixel Blur filter is applied to the woman instance throughout the
motion tween.
9 Position the playhead at frame 140 and right-click/Ctrl-click on the woman
layer there. Then choose Insert Keyframe > Filter.
A keyframe for filters is established at frame 140.
