Leadership Development

Employers often find the character and leadership of Williamson graduates set them apart in a very competitive job marketplace . In part , this is because Williamson students are taught leadership and teamwork skills throughout their college experience . A formal part of the curriculum , leadership training is incorporated into academic instruction , practical job settings , and focused , experiential activities .

Community Service

A significant part of the education at Williamson involves teaching students their role in the greater community . Service projects are a regular part of a Williamson student ’ s experience and have included efforts on a local , national , and international scale . Additionally , the college conducts an annual Service Week , during which the regular academic schedule is suspended while students , faculty , staff , trustees , and alumni serve a variety of nonprofit organizations .
