Selection Criteria for Admissions
LEH Foshan is a selective School. We assess all students with great
care to ensure that they will thrive in our environment. The selection
criteria for each year is:
Ages: 11-16 (Year 7 -11)
• Ability to access the whole curriculum in English
• Evidence of broad curriculum knowledge
• Age appropriate levels in Mathematics
• Excellent first language proficiency
• Ability to interact positively and confidently with adults and
other students
• Enthusiasm and passion to contribute to the
School community
Ages: 16-18 (Year 12-13) Opening in 2021
• Ability to access the whole curriculum in English
• Evidence of high academic achievement
• Evidence of broad curriculum knowledge
• Excellent first language proficiency
• Ability to interact positively and confidently with adults
and other students
• Enthusiasm and passion to contribute to the

Support for Students with English Language Needs
If you child’s level of English does not reach our selection criteria, we
can provide recommendations on how to improve, and may offer a
second assessment at a later date.
Alternatively, we may offer a place on the basis that the student will
join the Accelerated Language Programme (ALP) provided by our
school available from March 2020. Fees apply.
The ALP class provides English language preparation for students
starting at LEH Foshan in September 2020. These classes will be
taught by LEH Foshan teachers and our Admissions Team can
provide more details.
Support for Students with Special Education Needs (SEN)
If your child has any special needs or disabilities, please notify
the School and provide full details and reports as prepared by an
Educational Psychologist or other appropriate specialist where
available.
Parents should be aware that the School reserves the right to
withdraw a place from a prospective or current student when special
needs or disabilities have not been disclosed.

支持有英语语言强化需求的学生
如果你孩子的英语水平达不到我们的选择标准，我们可以提
供如 何改进的建议，并可能提供第二次评估。
或者，我们可以拟录取该学生，前提是该学生要参加我们学
校提供的英语强化提高课程 (ALP) 。该课程从 2020 年 3 月开
始。需额外收费。
通过 ALP 课程，学生可以做好英语语言准备，以确保能在
2020 年 9 月顺利入读佛山 LEH 。这些课程将由佛山 LEH 的教
师们直接授课，学校招生团队可以提供更多相关信息。
特殊需求或障碍
如果申请人有任何特殊需求或障碍，家长需提交申请前告知
学校，并向学校提交由教育心理学家或其他相关专业人士准
备的详细书面报告。
如家长未能如实告知相关情况，学校将保留向潜在学生或已
就读学生收回学位的权利。
