Message from the Director :
CCASC was born in 2013 with the goal of providing adaptive mountain sports opportunities to residents of Central California , a historically underserved area . We began with an all volunteer staff and borrowed equipment . Now , thanks to the generous support of the community , we operate out of a donated 1,440 square foot facility , maintain a fleet of state-of-the-art winter and summer adaptive sports equipment , and have a staff of dedicated instructors . We have offered more than 500 lessons to persons with disabilities , serving individuals from the Central Valley , other parts of California , and visitors from out-of-state . We are particularly proud to have received funding from the Department of Veteran ’ s Affairs Adaptive Sports Program to provide activities to veterans with disabilities at no charge .
Please spread the word and come visit us at China Peak Mountain Resort .
