The Central California Adaptive Sports Center ( CCASC ) is a 501 ( c )( 3 ) nonprofit organization offering quality outdoor adventures to youth and adults with disabilities , including our veterans .
Hi Everyone ,

Message from the Director

As we move through our ninth year providing outdoor adventures to our participants , we find ourselves busier than we would have ever imagined , having now provided over 6,000 programs .
This year , we were proud to attend and make a presentation at an event hosted by the Doug Flutie Foundation at the Maya Theater in Campus Pointe , Fresno . There , we were recognized as a recipient of a grant to provide outdoor adventures free of charge to persons living with autism . We immediately put these funds to work this summer and will be able to carry this program into the winter of 2023 .
We would also like to recognize Recreational Equipment , Inc . ( REI ) for its continued support . REI awarded grants to CCASC over the past few years and has allowed us on several occasions to set-up a booth in their store at River Park to showcase all of the ways CCASC is working to provide outdoor recreational opportunities to persons with disabilities throughout the Central Valley .
Thank you to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation and the Craig H . Neilsen Foundation for grant awards that make it possible for persons with spinal cord injuries to participate with CCASC free of charge . Likewise , the Veteran ’ s Administration has provided continuous funding over the past 8 years that allows us to provide free programming to our wounded Veterans .
Thanks also to the Central California Faculty Medical Group , the Hillblom Foundation , and the Dyer Family Foundation . Grants from those institutions allow us to purchase equipment and provide scholarships for persons who might not otherwise be able to afford to attend our programs .
And finally , thanks to all of you for your generous support of CCASC over the years . We are also grateful to our passionate staff and volunteers who experience outdoor adventures with our participants , while striving to improve their overall quality of life .
Let ’ s keep it going . Wishing you many adventures !
Randy Coffman , CCASC Executive Director
