Introducing Jodie Moores
“She’s absolutely lovely” is what people say after meeting Jodie Moores. Bright
and bubbly with a strong sense of integrity, people appreciate her professionalism,
warmth, compassion and honesty.
“Buying and selling can be an emotional, lifechanging experience; I’ve moved seven times in a
13 year period so I know what it’s like.
This may mean postponing a sale, or cancelling a
home open, or changing the way we do things to
best suit the client and their needs.
"We’ve gone from upsizing to downsizing, from a
single dwelling to a duplex or survey strata, from
buying an investment house and land to subdivide,
to building. Plus I’ve helped my mother move
from her home into a retirement village. So I can
honestly say I understand the procedures, stresses
and emotions involved from both the agent's and
client's point of view. I know how important it is to
find the right agent, someone who you trust and
who makes you feel empowered and a part of the
process.”
"As agents we need to remember that we're dealing
with a major financial and emotional investment
for our clients and they deserve good service. They
want you to treat them honestly and fairly, return
phone calls and emails, provide regular feedback
and listen to them. It’s quite simple.”
Her experiences have shown Jodie that good
communication is vital, and people want to feel
confident that their agent is working hard on their
behalf and is empathetic to their situation.
"Change is always unsettling, whether it's buying
your first home or selling the family home you've
lived in for 20 years. I work closely with my clients
to make the transition as smooth as possible.
"This doesn't just mean making sure the ads are in
the paper and the contracts are written up correctly,
it also means paying attention to what is happening
in their lives and making changes where necessary.
Jodie lives in Attadale and knows the local area
well, having lived in Applecross, Ardross and
Mount Pleasant over the years.
"It's a fantastic area. There's a wonderful sense
of community and it's very family friendly. I like
that it's close to the river and cycle tracks - the
foreshore is a great place to take the family or just
walk the dog - and there is protected wetland for
birdlife. Plus there are plenty of sporting facilities
and parks.
“We know we are in the right place.”
