southern suburbs agent profile Introducing Greg Chapman Who would have thought 15 years in the Scouting Movement would lead to a career in real estate for Greg Chapman? His enthusiasm, dedication, and leadership qualities saw him offered a position with ACTON Southern Suburbs in 2008 and he hasn’t looked back. “I was working in engineering and design, and also organising a large scouting event. ACTON Southern Suburbs Director Ryan Thompson attended one of my presentations for the event and asked me to join his team. “I had often thought about building a career in real estate, so it was an offer too good to pass up. Now I can’t imagine doing anything else.” As a member of the REIWA Six Million Dollar Club, and also a finalist in the 2009 Western Australian Youth Awards, Greg sees awards and recognition as a bonus, but says he gets the most satisfaction from the smiles, thanks and referrals that he receives from happy clients. “I like being able to help people, for me that’s where the real enjoyment is. “And the biggest compliment I can get is having a client recommend me to their family and friends.” Hard work, commitment and service are important in the Scouting Movement and Greg has carried these values into real estate. “It’s all about the client. As an agent you must remember that you are acting in the client’s best interest, not your own. “You need to be available to deal with questions and issues at any time of the day. You need to be prepared to go above and beyond to get the deal done. “Finally, communication is the difference between good service and great service. You need to keep your clients up to date. Whether they are buying or selling you are helping them with a major financial and emotional investment and they need to know what is happening every step of the way.” greg chapman 0407 466 502 [email protected] ACTON Southern suburbs cnr South St & Gilbertson Rd, Kardinya PH: (08) 9331 9700
