From the award-winning director of The Levys of Monticello , Steven Pressman ’ s timely and provocative new documentary film tells the unknown story of Jewish-American sculpture artist , Moses Jacob Ezekiel , who , after fighting in the Civil War , became known for creating monumental works of art celebrating the “ Lost Cause ” myth of the Confederacy .
