All-Star Soccer
Equipping young children with basic
soccer skills
Instructor: Recreation Staff
Ages: 3 – 5
Learning a new sport can help your child
develop social and motor skills. In this class,
your child will learn fundamental soccer skills,
including dribbling, passing and scoring. The
lessons taught over the eight sessions will
build and end with participants combining all
their newly-learned skills in a game. This is
a fun, recreational class focused on teaching
your child sportsmanship, listening skills and
teamwork.

Gym Olympics
An extra dose of gym time
Instructor: Recreation Staff
Ages: 3 – 5
8-week session
The gym is at the heart of this class, where
children will play a variety of different sports
and games each week to improve team
skills, body control, balance and hand/eye
coordination. Perfect for children who enjoy
being active.

Develop confidence and strength in
a fun and active group setting
Instructor: CORE Kids Academy
Ages: 3 – 5
In this class, children will be introduced to the
joy of body movement and awareness through
gymnastics, fitness exercises and educational
motor development games. Children will
develop flexibility, strength, coordination and
balance.
CORE Kids Academy’s mission is to instill and
develop confidence by enhancing each child’s
own capabilities through personal coaching in
a group setting.

Jr. NFL Youth Flag Football
League
Ages: 5 – 11
Each league season starts with a skills
evaluation followed by a selection process to
determine teams. The only requests taken for
team placement are sibling requests. Safety,
skill development and fun are the focus.
Each participant receives an NFL jersey and
flag belt. Practice prior to each game will be
facilitated by volunteer coaches. All games
are played on Sundays at Byrd Middle School.
Sign up early! Limited space in each division.
Volunteers needed for coaching.
