Grand Tones
Stop in for the rehearsal time for the
Grand Tones, the performing arm of our
Adult Programs. Preparations are always
underway for performances at nursing homes,
organizations, hospitals, churches, synagogues
and civic functions. Grand Tones are entering
their 49th year, under the direction of
volunteer Betsy Cockriel. Membership to TAP
is suggested.
Thursdays,

The New 5400 Club
This group, consisting of retired and semiretired men and women, meets each Monday
throughout the year. Each meeting features
an outstanding guest speaker. Membership
in the 5400 Club is open to all male/female
Weinstein JCC members. This group is a selfgoverning organization with its own board,
assisted by a Weinstein JCC staff advisor.

Tuesday Adult Programming
(TAP) Formally The Grand Group
This program meets every Tuesday year
round, and is for adult men and women. The
weekly agenda includes an exercise hour,
brown bag lunch, and programs featuring
entertainment, guest speakers, day trips,
theater and intergenerational programs.
TAP members enjoy celebrating many of the
holidays and events, including a latke party
with the Weinstein JCC Preschool children and
a Sweetheart Day luncheon.
Intergenerational Passover
Model Seder
At the Weinstein JCC
Join us on for our 9th annual special Passover
Model Seder. We will be celebrating by joining
active adults and the 7th & 8th graders from
Rudlin Torah Academy together in prayer, song,
the traditional Seder meal, plus making new
friends. This program is open to all active
adults who would like to participate. All faiths
are welcome.

Victory Day
Celebrate and honor local Russian veterans

Commemorate and honor our local Russian
veterans. This afternoon event includes
Russian songs, video, stories, dancing and
food. If you are Russian or just interested in
the Russian culture, you should not miss this
special celebration.

Join us for interesting and exciting discussions
on the Parsha (weekly Torah portion), Jewish
history, holidays and current events each week
facilitated by community Rabbis and learned
volunteers. You do not have to be Jewish to

EnRich for Life and Food for
Thought
The Weinstein JCC and Jewish Family Services
have teamed up to create two new and
innovative programs designed to provide older
adults with a monthly activity that enlightens
and engages. After the educational Food for
Thought speaker series, seniors can spend
an afternoon at EnRich for Life, with specially
designed classes each month. Programs vary
month-to-month and participants have the
option to choose an “active” or “creative” track.
Typically held the 2nd Monday of each month.
Lunch and Food for Thought program,
12:00-1:30 pm
Enrich classes, 1:30-2:30 pm and 2:30-3:30 pm
(2 classes $5 fee)
