Activity Guides Weinstein JCC Fall 2013 Magazine | Page 2

Dear Member,

Fall often brings new schedules, activities, and opportunities. Whether the season means back to school for your child or grandchild, back to a more regular routine for you, or a refreshing move to cooler and more colorful days, it surely brings change. At the Weinstein JCC, we’ re ready to embrace the transitions of fall.
This issue of the Weinstein JCC magazine highlights some of the biggest happenings ahead. Within it, we hope you’ ll note:

▪ The many classes and events that appeal to our wide range of membersʼ needs and interests

A Patrons of the Arts schedule( pages 42-44) sure to enlighten and entertain, and
A snapshot( actually several!) of our terrific child and youth programs
It’ s certainly appropriate that our fall cover story features our expanding balanced wellness program. Just as this offering strives to improve overall health in a lasting way, the concept of balance in all areas of your life typifies why we do what we do. Providing you with balance means that the Weinstein JCC is more than“ just” a fitness center, a cultural center, or a community center. To be all of those things and more to you, we strive to provide opportunities for everyone to achieve a balance of body, mind and spirit.
And as you get out your calendar to contemplate which activities you’ ll participate in over the next few months, don’ t forget to consider us for your upcoming social, corporate, or family get-togethers and special occasions. The Weinstein JCC can be a gathering spot for all of these events and more. Our variety of versatile spaces— including an expansive auditorium and two fun pools— along with the convenience of our rental program, means that you ' ll spend less time planning and more time enjoying your event.
Read more about what ' s ahead and get excited about where you can connect at the Weinstein JCC. Try something new, restart something you ' ve done before, plan a gathering here, and if you don ' t see something you ' d like offered, please let us know! With the support of our community, and the opportunities within these pages, we know this season can bring excitement and a sense of balance.
